Paula Murphy, Founder and President

Paula has 25 years of communications, project management, and leadership experience, with a specialty in the non-profit and Education and Health fields.

Her experiment with web-based storytelling began while she was a graduate student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.  After returning to San Francisco she joined leading institutions in the Bay Area, such as Gap Inc., UC San Francisco and UC Berkeley, forging new, innovative communications channels for internal and external audiences.

She has held leadership positions at the University of California and at a world-renowned independent school in the Bay Area. In these positions she has led teams of writers, graphic designers,  web developers  and videographers in creating beautiful and effective web sites, marketing materials, reports and videos.

Paula has extensive experience in external, internal and executive communications, including deep experience in event promotion, media relations, marketing, alumni and development communications.

In her free time she can be found on a tennis court, watching TV comedies with her teenage daughter, spending time with her aging pets, or volunteering at a local dog shelter.
